Kaladont explained:
Kaladont is a word game played in the Croatian and Serbian language, and we're going to play the English variant of it!
This is how it's played, you take the previous word's last two letters (e.g.: "Freedom") and think of a new word starting with those letters (e.g.: "Omnivore").
The person who writes a word ending in two characters from which a new word cannot be derived, wins! Then they pick a new word, thus beginning a new round.
That's all! Sounds easy? That's why there are a few rules to make the game more challenging!
Thread rules:
No names or words derived from names.
No plural forms or words that have the same form in both numbers (e.g. "electronics"; "electronic" is OK, though).
No forms ending with -ing (e.g. "using"; "use" is OK, though).
No forms ending with -ness (e.g. "sickness"; "sick" is OK, though).
No abbreviations (this includes acronyms, contractions, and shortenings).
No repeated words in a round.
No words from foreign languages and no slang.
Each word has to be at least three letters long.
Each round has to last for at least four words. (e.g.: Healthcare - Rebel - Elbow - Owl - This is the minimum length.)
Use proper spelling!
